Blossoms is a Ministry of Education licensed Early Childhood Home Based Childcare service owned and operated locally. Janine Collett established Blossoms after working for 25 years in the Early Childhood profession. Mostly in centre based services but more recently in the Home Based service.
Janine has become very passionate about providing a Home Based Childcare service because of the benefits small group childcare arrangements provide for children. The children are able to establish a close, safe and secure relationship with their Educator. This type of relationship provides the optimal learning environment for children, so they can flourish to become confident and capable learners. Each Educator caring for children really gets to know the children individually and can plan and organise activities and experiences to meet each child’s individual needs, strengths and any areas that may require support.
